Aedan Gleeson, DRI, President
Aedan is the president and founder of Gleeson Powers, Inc. (GPI). Since forming Gleeson Powers in 1992, Aedan has become a leader in the firestopping industry. As the Firestop Contractors International Association's (FCIA) first President and Charter member, Aedan has been a key contributor to growing this organization to over 300 members, and currently serves on the association's Advisory Board and is the Accreditation Chair. In 2013, the FCIA Board and Membership presented Aedan with the Advocate of the Year Award for his unwavering support and continual champion of Life Safety through firestopping. Selected for the exclusive 2009 FCIA Award in Excellence, Aedan continues to be a driving force within the industry. Aedan is often called upon to give presentations on firestopping to various architects, owners, general contractors and industry manufacturer groups. Aedan started in the U.S. construction market when coming to the U.S. from Dublin in 1990. Under his direction, GPI has become the first firestopping contractor in the country to become an Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) Qualified Firestop Contractor. Dana Arsenault, DRI, Vice President
Dana began his career with Gleeson Powers in 2000. As Gleeson Powers' Vice President, Dana is responsible for all operational areas of Gleeson Powers, including estimating, scheduling, project management, and in-field operations. He provides oversight on all projects in the areas of contract negotiations, preconstruction, construction, and ongoing client relations. Dana is an expert in the firestopping, waterproofing and air barrier industries, and manages all commercial and industrial projects at Gleeson Powers. Dana has been instrumental in the development of The Life Safety Tracker System®, our customized fire barrier management software. Matt Cole, Project Manager
Matt joined Gleeson Powers as a fire barrier surveyor in 2010 and quickly became an assistant project manager for healthcare facilities. In 2014, he was promoted to Project Manager and currently manages both healthcare and commercial construction projects in the New England area. He has extensive experience in managing projects from start to completion, including project planning and scheduling, cost control, documentation, change order management and customer relations. Before Joining Gleeson Powers, Matt studied at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Contact Matt.
Jeff Comeau, DRI, Lead Estimator
Jeff joined Gleeson Powers as Lead Estimator in September 2010. He currently manages bid estimates and project development for commercial and healthcare projects. Jeff has obtained his Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) status for the FM 4991 Approved Firestop Contractor program. Prior to joining Gleeson Powers, Jeff studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Contact Jeff.
Aideen Doneski, Director of Administration
Aideen serves as the Director of Administration at Gleeson Powers. Aideen has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry since joining GPI in 2004. In her role, she provides leadership and oversight in the areas of finance and administration as well as marketing and business development activities. She also has an interest in organizational development. With a background assessment and strategic planning, she works to integrate data-driven decision making and long term planning with day to day business operations. Aideen has a Bachelor's Degree from St. Anselm College and a Master's degree from Boston College, both in Sociology. Heather Graham, Office Administrator
Heather is GPI's Office Manager & Payroll Administrator. She is responsible for administering payroll, prequalifications, insurance certificates and support to the field and office team. Heather has been with Gleeson Powers since 2010, and has over 15 years of administrative experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining Gleeson Powers, Heather was Payroll Administrator with Front Line, Inc. and Office Manager at Picardi Construction Company. Jay Mack, Area Vice President, Mid-Atlantic
Jay joined Gleeson Powers in April 2010 as an Area Vice President for the Mid Atlantic region. Jay has been in the firestopping and mechanical insulation business for over 15 years. He gained his experience in the field as project manager, and then as a Branch Manager. As a Area Vice President for GPI's Mid-Atlantic division, Jay is responsible for estimating, project management, business development and sales. Jay has obtained his Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) status for the FM 4991 Approval Firestop Contractor program. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. Gus Mancini, DRI, CHC, Vice President of Healthcare / Project Executive
Gus is the Vice President of Healthcare & Project Executive for Gleeson Powers. He joined Gleeson Powers in September 2006 and since then has been a driving force in the development of Gleeson Powers' healthcare offerings, including our fire barrier management program and our customized barrier management software, The Life Safety Tracker System®. Gus has become an expert in understanding the needs of healthcare facilities to remain compliant and meet the life safety requirements of the Joint Commission, CMS and other accrediting agencies. He has obtained his Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) status for both FM 4991 Approved and UL Qualified Firestop Contractor programs. He is an Intertek Certified Fire & Egress Door Inspector, having completed the DHI (Door and Hardware Institute) Fire and Egress Door Assembly Inspection (FDAI) program. In 2011, Gus obtained the prestigious Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) Certificate offered through the American Healthcare Association (AHA). Renea Pisani, Controller / Project Administrator
Renea is GPI's Controller & Project Administrator. With 20 years of experience in construction accounting, she manages all invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and project accounting. Other administrative areas include human resources, bonding, and office/field support. Renea has been with Gleeson Powers since 2007 and previously worked in administration at Badd Brothers, Inc. as well as Dean College. Renea has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Stonehill College. Contact Renea.
